Testosterone Casserole

As you all know I have advocated in past articles for men to optimize testosterone levels.  One of those ways is to lift weights.

Just a reminder, if you didn’t take my advice to get off the couch and start lifting some weights it’s never too late to start.  However, I’m skeptical that you will if you have not yet; please prove me wrong.

Weight lifting and testosterone go hand-in-hand.  To optimize testosterone levels in today’s lazy feminized society weight lifting is nearly essential unless you do extremely demanding physical work.

At the same time, to get the most out of lifting you need to optimize your testosterone level.  One of the ways to do so is with your diet.

If you read fitness magazines you get beaten over the head with protein, protein, protein!  Yes protein is essential for muscle growth and recovery.

But anabolicmen.com reports that carbohydrates and fats should make up more of your diet than protein to reach optimal testosterone levels.  In fact they claim that too much protein can actually interfere with testosterone production.

Many fitness magazines push protein drinks and bars pictured with professional bodybuilders.  They will also post these guys’ workouts and diets which are low in fats and at competition time, low in carbs.  This is because their goals are massive amounts of lean muscle which is not all that functional for those of us who don’t compete.

They don’t have to worry about the hormonal effects of their mega-protein diet because they are on loads of drugs.  This is why I don’t really advocate people with regular jobs taking a bodybuilding mentality over a weightlifting mentality.

Unless you are competing in bodybuilding or modeling you will most likely over train and eat poorly.  For what?  A better peak on your biceps?  And remember, most shakes and bars are contaminated with soy lectin, metals and artificial fillers.

Your biggest meal of the day should always be after your workout or most physical activity of the day, not before.  Sometimes cooking after a long day at work and then the gym can be a real pain in the ass.

I came up with this pretty quick makeshift casserole which optimizes both hormones and muscle building/recovery:

1-One cup of white rice (essential carb and you want the post-workout insulin boost that white carbs provide) cooked with sea salt, a tablespoon of butter (animal fat=cholesterol), a clove of garlic (eat the clove at some point) and a hot pepper (if you like spice).

2-Sautee 1/2-3/4 lb of 85% ground beef (protein and more essential animal fat) with white button mushrooms which are a natural estrogen blocker (no cooking spray, olive oil if needed).  If they don’t have 85% meat at the market get 80% over 90% (cholesterol=testosterone).

3-Break down a ripe avocado (terrific source of healthy fat) into a large ceramic or metal bowl.  No plastic!  Plastic is estrogenic.

4-Mix rice with meat/mushrooms into the bowl with avocado.

5-Finally, squirt half a lemon into the casserole and stir (no plastic spoons).  The combination of vitamin C with garlic (and hot pepper if you can handle it) are terrific for nitric oxide levels (blood flow).

Eat till you’re full.  Personally I eat the whole thing.  If the avocados are not looking good at the market I will improvise by nixing the lemon and adding 3 handfuls of parmesan cheese (real, not that commercial s**t).

For a vegetable eat a couple celery sticks with some beat juice.  On top of serving muscle and hormones, this meal is dirt cheap.  Talk soon.

GGG-Canelo Saga Continues

Last week Gennady “GGG” Golovkin (38-0-1, 34 KO) got back into the knockout business on Cinco de Mayo.  Of course he was in with a lesser opponent in Vanes Martirosyan (36-4-1, 21 KO).

GGG did what he was supposed to do in getting the Martirosyan out of there in the second round.  However, he was supposed to be in a rematch with Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KO) after Canelo was given a gift draw in their first fight back in September.

However, the Mexican pulled out before receiving a six month suspension from the same Nevada State Athletic Commission that gave him that draw after failing 2 tests for PEDS.  Canelo came up dirty for trace amounts of Clenbuterol.

It is my understanding that this drug is used to aid in weight loss while maintaining muscle mass.  Canelo claims the positive tests came from tainted Mexican meat.

As preposterous as that sounds, to be fair there have been prior cases of athletes (fighters included) who came up dirty and were exonerated based on this meat alibi.  Victor Conte whom I trust when it comes to this stuff claims that the amounts of Clenbuterol in his system were consistent with tainted meat.

However, skeptics and GGG fans believe that Canelo took this stuff before camp knowing that there was a meat alibi in place.  He looked bad in not even showing up to defend himself in person in a hearing.

He later helped his cause by passing a hair sample test after passing all subsequent tests to the two positives before he pulled out of the fight.  However, Golden Boy Promotions’ (Canelo’s promoter) Eric Gomez has claimed that Canelo will submit to testing upon signing of the contract for the rematch.

This would allow the Mexican to possibly dope before the signing of the contract.  The only way for him to clear himself is to submit to year round WADA testing (the most rigorous in the world).

GGG has been under voluntary WADA testing for years.  The Kazakh did so at trainer Abel Sanchez’ advice as he knew that there would be speculation about him based on his historic one-punch knockout power.

Alvarez appears to be taking a page out of Floyd Mayweather’s (who always used the less strenuous USADA testing) book in dictating when testing starts.  This allows the fighter to possibly dope between testing, pass the tests, but still maintain some of the benefits.  Mayweather has quietly raised questions in the past regarding PED testing.

This is where Golovkin needs to be smart.  He is the middleweight champion and Canelo, though the bigger crossover name now needs the fight just as badly as GGG.

But unlike Roberto Duran and Marvin Hagler who forfeited their negotiating power just to get Sugar Ray Leonard in the ring decades ago, the Kazakh should demand the power seat in negotiations for any rematch.  He should demand that the Mexican submit to year round WADA testing as a prerequisite to negotiations.

On top of that, he should demand to be the A-side of the promotion, demand he get in the ring last and more importantly force Canelo to Madison Square Garden where there will not be more than a 1,000 Mexicans in the building.  And of course, no Vegas based judges.

If Canelo balks, the middleweight division is now loaded with talent for GGG to try to cement his legacy, albeit less lucrative.  He can fight a rematch with Daniel Jacobs (34-2, 29 KO) who gave him a closer fight than Canelo did.

There is also a unification bout out there with WBO strap holder Billy Joe Saunders (26-0, 12KO) who looked terrific against David Lemieux.  Sergey Derevyanchenko (12-10, 10 KO) is the IBF mandatory challenger whom GGG probably should have fought in Canelo’s place last weekend.

Jermall Charlo (27-0, 21 KO) is an exciting contender with the talent to give GGG fits.  Whichever way Golovkin goes, at 36 he can’t afford to wait.

He’s already showing signs of becoming a tad shopworn and at his age every training camp takes about a year off the prime he is already on the other side of.  Talk soon.

PS:  President Donald J. Trump has brought home 3 hostages from North Korea.  If talks with Kim Jong-un go well, could he be headed for the Nobel Peace Prize?  Don’t hold your breath…

Kanye Hated for Message of Love

TSS has been quiet for a while but we’re still here.  Maybe just a little funk from the terrible winter extension here in the Northeast which means I need to get a little tougher mentally.

Onto our topic.  Kanye West has been prominent in the news lately for shaking up the establishment and challenging his accepted place in the world by that same establishment (mainly the Democrat Party of slavery).  West has shown too much free thinking for their taste.

Let me first say that I know very little about Kanye West.  I basically know him to be a famous rapper (I don’t know one lyric) married into a family of spoiled bimbos who became famous with no talent because we have a become a society of mentally weak morons.

But West broke into areas I pay attention to in the last couple weeks by sending out tweets supporting Candice Owens (a black woman who also has stepped over the boundaries of what the mostly white left has set for her kind), stating that he loves President Donald J. Trump and taking pictures in MAGA hats.

This created some shakeup on both sides of the political sphere.  You have the George Soros soldiers on the satanic left in an uproar claiming to be worried about West’s mental health.  You have fellow rappers calling for a Crips beat-down of West for claiming his love for Trump.  This is typical.

Every time a prominent black person today thinks and speaks outside those boundaries set by the party of slavery they are fair game for attack.  Think about it.

What do Justice Clarence Thomas, Condalisa Rice, Herman Cain, Ben Carson and Candice Owens all have in common?  All are or have been painted by the Democrat loving media as traitors to their race, sell-outs and Uncle Toms.  They get The Joe Frazier Treatment.

Now as Mike Cernovich has pointed out, the right are no angels in this either.  Those limpd***s who outside Trump and a select few who stand for much but fight for nothing are licking their chops in desperation for just one younger, hipper celebrity than Clint Eastwood to jump on their train.

Add to it that this celeb also happens to be a black man and the establishment GOP is like a dog waiting for a crumb to drop.  They know that if they could ever significantly cut into the donkey’s stronghold on the black vote it could be a deathblow to the left (this makes their intensions no more genuine than the left’s).

However those thinking that way will likely be disappointed.  I suspect Mr. West is not a conservative.  Seems like he is just an independent thinker who probably has more liberal leanings than conservative if I had to guess.

Then again, maybe that is just my own prejudices talking.  Yes folks, like it or not we are all prejudiced; it’s okay, you can admit it.

Yes, I made it clear in my first article that bigotry would not be tolerated here but we are all prejudiced to some degree if we are being honest with ourselves.  It’s even shown throughout the Bible.

One thing is for certain:  this guy is way more influential than I ever gave him credit for.  There is a reason everyone is so triggered by him.

The biggest reason the left is so triggered is because he is preaching a message of love.  He is putting out an olive branch for peace among us.

Now while I’m always skeptical of the motives of celebrities, if West is sincere he is dangerous to the satanic globalist movement on both sides of the aisle.

They know they have nothing if there is not hatred and division amongst us.  I often write about how traditional America needs to start taking action and fighting for their cause the way the left does.

I stand by that.  But we can’t beat Satan and his soldiers at their own game of hate.

It appears Kanye is trying to have people who disagree on many things focus on the things they do agree on rather than strictly thinking in a Democrat vs. Republican box.  He himself claims to love Trump (whom many Dems voted for) but disagree with him at times.

Jesus told us to love and pray for our enemies.  He didn’t say to roll over for them, but maybe a guy like Kanye West is making so many waves because he is advocating for common ground and independent thought rather than differences and boundaries.  Talk soon.
