The United States of America is no longer a serious country. Yes, we have the largest economy (for now), the strongest currency and the supposedly most powerful military but we are ripe for an ass kicking.
Our society is crumbling. Everywhere you go, nearly on a daily basis you find incompetence. When you deal with people in commerce and compare it to even 10 years ago, the drop-off is startling.
I find myself constantly having to do people’s jobs for them. If I do not have to do that, I am sure to deal with unkept obese losers nearly everywhere I go.
I am going to give a few examples I have recently experienced in the food and drink industry. I have always enjoyed going out to dinner or sitting at a bar for a few cocktails.
I try never to be that demanding customer who makes a production of every little thing. I speak to staff with respect. I smile at them. I tip well, sometimes even over-tip.
However, I am finding that 20% is simply expected for mediocrity at best.
One night in the Spring, my lady and I took a bottle of wine to a pizzeria we always liked. They had good prices and a friendly owner. The wait staff was very accomodating.
So, we roll up and see Grand Opening signs. They were under new ownership. It was disappointing but we were there, so we sit down to eat. I am already turned off as I look to my right and see leftwing media on a TV screen.
It is my experience that most Italians are fairly based. Why is commie news on rather than Sinatra playing quietly in the background? I would even have understood a baseball game on the TV.
The waitress comes and takes our order. I order us muscles to start and a large pizza. She hands me a bottle opener for my wine. I am supposed to open it?
I am now even more annoyed about the ownership change. Next, our muscles come. They were good. Not as good as under the former owner, but nothing to complain about until she drops the pizza off about 5 minutes later.
It is not the first place I have experienced this. When did people stop understanding that the main course is served after appetizers are done?
Now I have a cluttered table and a pizza that is getting cool. Do they want us out quickly? They are not very crowded.
We then go up the block to get ice-cream. The girl waiting on me appears stoned and disinterested. I order a couple ice-creams and see a coffee machine.
I ask for a small coffee also. The girl at the counter says she doesn’t know if they have coffee. I point to the machine.
Uh…you want me to check? PLEASE! She comes back giggling and showing the cup to her coworker. I ask if there’s something wrong with it.
She tells me there is only half a cup and it is not hot. She then asks if I want it. Why would I?
I can tell the idea of making more is beyond these morons even though they are serving dessert. They have the nerve to leave a tip cup. I normally would throw them a buck. Maybe two if I had a little buzz.
I had no buzz. I was disgusted with the service at both places and felt like taking the tip jar home.
More recently, I took the lady to a nicer restaurant. The food was excellent. She could not finish. Side note: if you are a man eat like one and finish your meal. You look feminine with a carryout unless the place serves absolutely enormous portions.
Back to the point. I tell the staff that my lady would like to take her leftover. They hand her a container for her to transfer the food from her plate.
She is wearing nice clothes. We are not shlubs who go to dinner in mandles and cargo shorts.
Now she is supposed to possibly splash clothes making her own doggy bag? Should we go back and wash our dishes too?
Onto the bar industry.
A couple weeks back I go to a cigar lounge. The clientele is majority fairly traditional men.
Men sitting at that bar having a drink and a cigar want one of two things on the other side: and attractive woman who gets you a drink when you’re ready or an old school dignified man who keeps the drinks coming. If he also smokes while he works, even better.
Instead, there was a heavily tattooed obese woman who looked like she had been on COPS and a 35ish Antifa type with satanic tattoos, bolts in his face and neon fire colored hair with a black beard. He literally looked dressed for Halloween.
About a month ago, myself and 3 friends stop in a family-oriented restaurant and sit at the bar. The food there is pathetic, so we did not eat. It was about 9 PM on a Saturday night. A family could have easily come in from a late little league game to get some crappy frozen chicken fingers from a box.
They would have walked in to see the staff made up of obese women and beta males bobbing their heads to blasting rap music with the word “nigger” repeated relentlessly in between lyrics about “bitches sucking dick.” What would have happened if we talked like that at the bar?
I’m sure we would have been asked to leave. It is not beyond possible that the police would have been called. Would we have been allowed to stay if we simply said we were singing along with the juke box?
These are just tiny microcosms of a crumbling society. As the West provokes wars with actually serious masculine societies, our waiters cannot even dump leftovers into a container.
We are not a serious country anymore. Talk soon.

PS: The other night, my lady and I actually had a competent, clean-cut waiter who packaged her leftovers in the kitchen for her. I thanked him and mentioned how rare his level of service is becoming. It was no surprise to learn he is a Trump supporter.
