Cernovich Mindset Seminar Recap

This past weekend I attended a mindset seminar hosted by Mike Cernovich.  If you read this blog you know that I often refer or link to him in my articles.

I told you all in my first article that he was one of four influences to my creating this site (with the help of a more computer literate friend).  I first heard of Mike Cernovich by seeing him mentioned in Bold and Determined.

At some point in the Summer of 2016 I started reading Mike’s original blog, Danger and Play.  It was a lifestyle blog geared toward men with the idea of being unapologetically masculine in a world that finds masculinity offensive.  It provided tips on fitness, diet, women, confrontation, etc.

I didn’t agree with or apply everything (Mike is a self-proclaimed atheist or agnostic; I can’t recall which and don’t pretend to know the difference) but so much of it made sense and I have applied some of it successfully.  Today, he even admits in his current material that he is finding himself being drawn more to God as Revelations continues coming to fruition.

Cernovich was largely apolitical until the Trump movement came along.  I started reading his Twitter feed.  While the polls were showing Trump comfortably behind, Cernovich stood strong that the polls were fake seeing the energy of Trump’s base compared to that of Crooked Hillary Clinton.

Labor Day of 2016 I was on vacation and read his self published book Gorilla MindsetGorilla Mindset is essentially about eliminating negativity, both internal and external, taking responsibility for yourself and writing your own script.

The book had already been a big seller before I read it and he was preparing to release the follow-up, MAGA Mindset which would be released right before the 2016 election with the premise that Trump had won.

That’s how confident he was in Trump’s victory.  I may have been just as hopeful but not nearly as confident.  While MAGA Mindset is not as known I highly recommend both.

While mainstream media refers to Cernovich as an alt-right (he has disavowed the alt-right too many times to count) Pizzagate (a story he did not break) conspiracy theorist, his journalism the last couple years has been Pulitzer-worthy.  Cernovich broke the Susan Rice unmasking story while others sat on it, reported Trump people were not getting security clearance a year before MSM reported such and broke the John Conyers sexual harassment story (causing him to resign) through Buzfeed.

That is just naming a few.  Cernovich has been dialing down the politics as he and his family continue to receive death threats from Deep State and far left scum and getting back to his mindset stuff.  However he has a film, Hoaxed coming soon.

Mike along with 3 guest speakers discussed success mindset.  Cernovich was very humble in speaking first rather than making himself the main event.  He seems to be attempting to lower his profile and raise others.

The other speakers included Ed Latimore.  Latimore is a semi-retired professional boxer and blogger.  His story starts out spending way too many unproductive hours in his early years in Pittsburgh before entering the military which allowed him to obtain a physics degree in addition to boxing and writing.

Brandon Carter  is a youtube personality who owns a successful supplement company.  His motto is “excuses are for bitches”.  This is a self-made guy who grew up in Southside Chicago where his father whom he was extremely close to committed suicide.

These are not a-list celebrities.  Just regular guys with inspiring stories who pride themselves on avoiding the grievance of tough upbringings.  Today’s supposed civil rights charlatans would have no use for them.

Alexander Cortes is a writer, personal trainer and former dancer who came from a more prodigious beginning but created his own adversity through poor character and choices that he is in the process of righting.  His psychological approach to fitness sounds interesting.  Time constraints by the venue shortened his presentation.

The nutshell message from all four was eliminating negatives (people and self talk), surrounding yourself with winners and writing your own story.  Often we allow ourselves to be imprisoned by the shame that others (possibly loved ones included) place on us stemming from them being offended by our attempts at self improvement.

Cernovich gave an example that was geared toward the younger people in the multi-cultural crowd of about 100 people that if you told your friends that you were staying in Friday night to catch an early train to Manhattan to attend a self improvement seminar, they would think you were strange for doing so rather than spending your Saturday hung over.

I never expected to be someone that would attend such an event.  I’m in my 40s and still have at least one friend that would think like that.

If you are looking for overall improvement in your wellbeing I would recommend you read Gorilla Mindset and open your mind to the possibility of attending a Cernovich event.

The only thing you have to lose are the shackles of shame and negativity.  Talk soon.

PS:  I have heard for a couple weeks how terrible it is for children of those who have declared war on our borders to be separated from their (possible) parents while detained.  Yeah, I suppose that’s unfortunate.

You know who else has been separated from their families?  Every American who has been killed (intentionally or accidentally) by an illegal alien.  That’s in addition to the 60,000,000 unborn babies in the United States that have been slaughtered in their mothers’ wombs since 1973.

Chalk One Up for The Lord

The Supreme Court ruled 7-2 in favor of Masterpiece Cakeshop owner Jack Phillips exercising his religious freedom.  For those of you who don’t know, the Colorado baker found himself in a legal battle because he refused to bake a wedding cake for a homosexual couple.

Wherever you stand on homosexual marriage, one of this country’s foundations is freedom of worship.  There is nothing discriminatory about a man refusing to bake a custom cake for an event that violates his faith.

Had this couple walked in his shop and been denied a cupcake because they were homosexual, yes by all means they would have a legit beef.  But that was not the case.

As is often the case, it is the LGBTQ community who acts bigoted and bullyish.  As I wrote about this time last year, this movement which begs for tolerance shows none.  This is a movement who has a history of pushing away American flags, Israeli flags and “Gays for Trump” banners calling them oppressive and offensive.

Like most bully movements, they are also complete cowards.  They always target Christians, the faith that finds their behavior sinful but does not oppress them.  In fact, many pray for these people who carry heavy crosses.

They never take on Islam which has no tolerance for infidels.  Have you ever seen this community protest a Muslim event?  They dare not provoke the group that has thrown them off of roofs, stoned them to death and shot up their nightclubs.

Unsurprisingly, the Justices who ruled against the baker were Sleepy Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor.  Of course Sotomayor has admitted that those of her ilk legislate from the bench as seen here.

But the important thing is that 7 Justices ruled in favor of religious liberty.  Thank you Jesus!  Talk soon.

PS:  Congrats to the New York Yankees and Anaheim Angels for not participating in MLB’s LGBTQ celebrations.  Again, wherever you stand on these issues, what does what people do with their private parts have to do with being a baseball fan?  They are called “private” parts for a reason:  they are “PRIVATE”.

PPS:  Kudos to President Donald J. Trump.  In addition to a cooking economy, jobs and wages on the rise, ISIS crumbling, no new useless ground wars, better deals for Americans (though I’m still pissed about the budget he signed) and steps toward possible peace through strength with North Korea, he found time to pardon former Heavyweight Champion of the World Jack Johnson.  The champ was convicted for transporting women across state lines for immoral purposes.  The truth is Jack Johnson liked white women and society didn’t like that.  The supposedly racist President took the action that his predecessors on both sides of the aisle failed to.

Only Rosanne Held Accountable?

Well by now you all know that the reboot of Rosanne has been cancelled due to her racist tweet about Valerie Jarrett.  Before I get to my main points let me just say I was not a regular watcher of the show.

When I heard about the concept I was intrigued and tuned in for the first two episodes.  I was turned off by the preteen boy character who dressed like a girl.  I think that normalizing the sexualization of children on television is rather perverse.

Aside from that I found the humor to be forced rather than free and easy the way early episodes of the show’s first run came across.  However, I must admit I was enjoying the program’s success because it rankled the intolerant left.

For those who may not know, Rosanne Barr sent out a tweet stating that Ms. Jarrett was the offspring of the Muslim Brotherhood and Planet of the Apes.  Not nice, but I can remember when comics were a tad more protected from the PC police so they could remain funny.

But to be objective I can’t say ABC’s decision to cancel her show is unfair.  What is unfair are the network’s double standards.

ABC employs Jimmy Kimmel who has done a skit in blackface imitating NBA Hall-Of-Famer Karl Malone with intentionally poor grammar.  He has also mocked First Lady Melania Trump’s accent.  His show remains on ABC.

Joy Behar mocked Vice President Mike Pence’s Christian faith and called those who claim to hear Jesus mentally ill.  That’s in addition to calling home schooled children “demented.”  But you can still see Ms. Behar and her flock of cackling hens on The View everyday on ABC.

ABC’s affiliate ESPN, the MSNBC of sports continues to employ Jemele Hill after she called President Donald J. Trump a white supremacist.  Funny how as Phil Mushnick points out, she doesn’t mind being associated with a network who runs promotions with gang member rappers who refer to their fellow African Americans as n*****s, b*****s and w****s.

Yet at the same time, tennis announcer Doug Adler was dropped by ESPN for referring to Venus Williams using “guerilla (not gorilla) tactics” on the court.  Would ESPN suits ever recite these rappers’ they so welcome lyrics in public?

Let us also not forget that ESPN fired Curt Schilling for defending the rights of children to maintain their innocence in public bathrooms.  This was after being suspended for rightfully comparing radical Islam to Nazi Germany.

Let’s look at some examples of the “talent” on other networks.  Stephen Colbert remains on CBS after giving a Nazi salute on his show.  NBC’s Seth “Beta Male” Meyers referred to former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci as a “human pinkie ring” and a dropout from a doo-wop group.  He’s still on.

Bill Maher referred to himself as a “house-n****r” on his show.  You can still catch that show on HBO.

Finally, this week a busted slob I had never heard of before named Samantha Bee called First Daughter Ivanka Trump a “feckless c**t” on TBS.  She also implied that Ivanka and her father have an incestuous relationship.  As of this writing she is still employed.

So what this boils down to is not defending Barr, but exposing the double standard.  Leftwing offensive speech is free speech.  Rightwing offensive speech is hate speech.

As Mike Cernovich often says, what are you going to do about it?  If you are a Rosanne fan you should boycott ABC.

Yes ladies that means General Hospital.  As for you beta couch potatoes who watch 3 hours of Sports Center every Saturday, same goes for you.

Sports Center is easy for anyone with half an IQ point to avoid but that would also mean Ohio State-Michigan on Thanksgiving weekend; also all those well-done 30-for-30s.  Personally, I will be calling TBS tomorrow to demand Ms. Bee’s removal.

If they refuse I will NEVER watch a Turner station as long as she occupies that spot.  And yes, that means playoff baseball.  BTW, where is the #MeToo movement in all this?

Like I have said before, do your small part.  If you think it makes no difference just look at these NFL owners scrambling to address the kneeling issue.

Hit them in the ratings and you hit them in the pocketbook.  Talk soon.

PS:  I was contacted by a reader who has taken on a local radical leftwing environmental group to make a safer and more enjoyable environment for his children.  He claims to have received a slight push from us here at TSS.  Congrats to him and God Bless!
