Give Yourself to Jesus Christ

In my HIJACKED! article a couple weeks back I made a list of ways to help ourselves through these dark times of tyranny that are upon us.

We still have the US Constitution and will need it.  The Constitution gives us freedom of worship.

We need God more than ever.  Trump could not and cannot save us.  He actually went out like a punk in my opinion pardoning rappers who made  violent  anti-Trump videos rather than Julian Assange who’s truth exposure helped Trump get elected in the first place.

Does that mean I regret my vote for him like I do Romney and McCain?  No.  His policies were far better than anything else we could have had in the last 5 years.

But as Roosh pointed out and I agree, we don’t deserve a good leader.  We deserve a fraudulent, incompetent, immoral regime because that’s what we are now as a society.

God’s wish for us is not an end game of waiving flags and saying Make America Great Again; it’s not having a robust 401K.  God’s wish is for us to join Him in Heaven for eternity.

However, He does not force us to love Him.  No, He gives us free will so that we choose to love Him.

We have been practicing idolatry for the better part of a century.  I have been guilty of it too.

We put money before God.  We put material goods before God, especially on His Son’s birthday.

We put comfort before God.  We put entertainment before God.  We put fornication before God.

Some of that fornication has become abomination, the worst of sins.

Like any good Father, God is now disciplining His children to save them from themselves.  That discipline is with the hard times we now face.

It’s nothing new at all.  Time after time in the Old Testament, when the Jews became too decadent in their ways turning their backs on God in a state of His Given prosperity, He chastised His Chosen until they repented.

So it seems our chastisement is being faced with uncertainty, with constant lies and with darkness/death.  God is allowing demonic forces and those who work for Satan and his minions to have their hour.

However, God gave us The Savior.  He gave us His Word Made Flesh.  He gave us His only begotten Son, Jesus.

Jesus tells us He is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6).  But just like the Father, we have to choose Him.

He has to be number one in our lives.  He has to come before our carnal desires.  He has to come before our entertainment.  He has to come before our recreation.

He has to come before our jobs.  He has to come before education.

I will take it a step further.  He has to come before our relationships, before our friends, before our family.

Jesus did not come to bring unity, but division.  That’s because He is the Truth.  The truth divides, even among families.  (Luke 12:49-53)

Putting Jesus first will automatically make us better friends, better husbands, better wives , better sons, better daughters, etc.

Politicians and mindset gurus are just men.  The best of us are deeply flawed.  Trump caved many times.  Jefferson had slaves.  King was an adulterer, some say worse.  Hulk Hogan dropped the yellow and red for the NWO.

Only Jesus is flawless.  Well, I hear you but I have been so distant from God for so long.  I don’t even know where to start you may say.

I am going to suggest what I saw work for Roosh in his conversion from uber-fornicator to professor of the Word in pretty short order.

Say the Lord’s Prayer once per day asking Jesus to take over your life.  Take your time.  Do it with feeling, not a rush job on your way to the market.

Those are okay too, but make them extra.  Hopefully in time you repent for your sins.  You will then desire Christ more and get to know your faith better.

I would then suggest you start reading the New Testament.  Yes, the Old Testament came first and the New completes the Old.  It is not a counter argument.

However, the Old Testament is very long (I still have yet to finish it and have read the New Testament multiple times).  It can be a tough read for someone newly coming to Christ.

After that I would find a good House of Worship.  I am Catholic and every Christian thinks his church is Christ’s one true Church.  I believe this about Catholic and also Orthodox Doctrine despite a faker sitting in the Vatican.

However, we as a society do not currently have the luxury of splitting hairs over who’s interpretation of The Word is better.  We need to come together as Christians.

There are a few things I would avoid.  Obviously if they are harboring someone with credible child abuse accusations against them, stay away.

Churches who fly LGBT flags or embrace sodomites as couples and legitimate families rather than individual sinners but children of God are wolves in sheep’s clothing.

Churches who take lukewarm stances on abortion are to have their dust shaken from your feet, not embraced with your patronage.

Churches with female pastors always raise this author’s eyebrow.  That is not to say women cannot be spiritual leaders.

I admire the late Mother Angelica and wish more priests were like her.  However, she herself would tell you she has no business leading Mass.

If you do these things with purpose the Holy Spirit will begin to move you into more detailed aspects of your faith.

This is not to say hard times will just become easy.  Jesus guarantees we will have to take up our cross to follow him.  Beats the alternative.

Ultimately we choose Heaven or hell as our final destination.  What do you choose?

Personally I cannot imagine enduring the demonic regimes we are up against on all fronts without the hope and guaranteed victory Christ brings.  Talk soon.

PS:  It’s a given that the truth about the 2020 election will be revealed in this life or the next.  However, with prayer I believe Jesus will reveal it in this life.

  1. Yes, Trump was the better choice but not the best. He is not our savior. During Trump’s administration, we lost sight of that – some points in time more than others. It’s time to recognize the season we are in and the lateness of the hour …

Jesus is our Savior. He has prepared a place for us in Heaven not in earth. We are to follow Him – to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ – to save as many people as we can.

The good news is that there is no chaos in Heaven. God is still on the Throne. He is in control.

As always, much love and appreciation to you, Marksman
