Trump may lose his base and you know what? That just might be a good thing.
Yes, he did some good things in Office. Yes, if we counted only legal votes he would still be there.
Yes, he has been screwed every which way and has every right to be angry. We are angry for him and ourselves.
But that’s where Trump and MAGA split. MAGA cares about themselves AND Trump.
Trump cares about Trump. His people are suffering while he sulks in Mara Lago.
When I say Trump may be losing his base it is not because MAGA is going away. MAGA is on fire now more than ever thanks in large part to Steve Bannon’s War Room Pandemic.
MAGA is chipping away at the establishment speaking truth, joining precinct committees, taking to schoolboards, etc. In return they are being subject to FBI raids, selective prosecutions/imprisonment and COVID restrictions.
As I said before, Trump got booed bragging about his gene therapy shot rollout at his own rally. Since then, his base has had to endure choosing between liberty and employment.
Some thought they were getting a shot to go to useless concerts or travel. They are now being told they might as well have no shots if they don’t get as many boosters as Fraudchi says.
So what does Trump do? Goes and brags this week before an audience about the shots again.
What happens? He gets booed again.
Then he accepts praise from the illegitimate hair sniffer sitting in his rightful seat after China Joe acknowledged Trump for rolling out this gene therapy without sufficient testing.
Trump is more concerned about getting a crumb of praise from the enemy than serving his base. Does that mean Trump is bad for getting the shot?
No, but maybe he should shut up about it. He seems to have learned little from his follies. His ego interferes with growth.
Meanwhile, Gov. Ron DeSantis just continues to spit in the face of communist COVID restrictions. He takes the media hits and keeps right on governing for the people.
If this trend continues and DeSantis decides he wants to run in 2024, goodbye Trump. DeSantis seems to be Trumpism without Trump.
That is not looking like a bad thing come 2024. Merry Christmas.

The vaccine was effective against the original Wuhan virus and did save lives,also Trump got the ball rolling on the therapeutics that have been out and are coming out,not to mention the ventilators and Ppe needed at the time.People boo because they are tired of the political football that the Democrats have turned this thing into,the vaccine is no longer a tool against the different variants and most everyone knows it.The Bill O’Reilly interviews are not Trump at his best,the ralliesare where he shines.Once he can announce his candidacy next year and holds his Trump MAGA rallies it will be game on.DeSantis is great,but after the crooked election of 2020,voting for him instead of Trump would be like kissing your sister.Merry Christmas Marksman
