The Bliss of God’s Grace

My last post was about about The Pain of Sin.  The good news is that there is another side of the equation and that is the bliss of God’s Grace.

When we confess and repent for our sins, we enter back into God’s Grace.  It is a tremendous feeling walking out of Confession.

If you are run over by a car and die on your way out, you go straight to Heaven.  What more could anyone ask for?  This is why I will never take a vaccine and I don’t fear the CCP virus.

I don’t fear death because it is not my goal to live on Earth forever.  Do I want the virus?  No!  I also don’t want to suffer through cancer.

People who want to live forever lack faith in Eternal Life.  They think that earthly comfort and riches are the keys to Paradise.  Paradise is not here.

Paradise is Heaven.  We must die an earthly death before we can go there.

If I could choose my death it would be a massive heart attack after leaving Confession.

The other good news:  there is no sin greater than God’s Mercy.  If you are an abortion doctor, rapist, whatever-you can still be forgiven for your sins if you confess and repent for them then come to Jesus Christ.

The other thing I have noticed:  the greater the sin or longer period of time without confession, the better you feel leaving.

You are spiritually bulletproof so long as you don’t sin again.  We all fall again.

However, we do have God’s gift of free will.  You will find that your choices to sin will decrease over time because you don’t want to fall out of His Grace.

We all have sinful histories.  Maybe you’ve been carrying something for years, even decades.

Maybe you are afraid or embarrassed to confess these sins.  That is Satan putting lies into your head to keep his grip on you.

Don’t fall for the deception.  There is likely nothing you can tell that priest that he has not heard.  Chances are he won’t even remember what you confessed the next time he sees you.

Jesus works through him to wash away your sins and cleanse your soul.  What do you have to lose?

You won’t find a better deal.  Talk soon.
